Roles include Product Development, Test & Validation, Simulation Engineering, and Thermal & Fluid Systems, with a focus on real-world projects and mentorship. Open to current mechanical engineering students who can work full-time during the summer and potentially continue part-time during school.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in mechanical engineering.
• Understanding or working knowledge of Pro-E and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and bring new products to market.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners and designers to optimize basic designs for manufacturability.
• Supports product development plans (schedule, cost, design inputs).
• Travels to other Generac facilities as necessary.
