Job summary

Dennis Group Structural Engineers seek a motivated student or recent graduate to support design and analysis for food and beverage facility projects. You will assist with calculations, drafting, and documentation under senior engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil or Structural Engineering, have a 3.0+ GPA, and some exposure to AutoCAD and Revit; FE/EIT desired. On-site in Duluth, GA with opportunities to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil or Structural Eng degree (preferred).
• GPA 3.0+ required for consideration.
• EIT/FE desirable; internship or co-op experience helpful.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit drafting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of materials and construction techniques across projects.
• Perform hand calculations and build computer models for structural design tasks.
• Determine applicable building codes and site amendments.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and review documentation for quality.
• Draft sketches, contract drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist with foundation and framing design and cost estimation.
• Support field inspections and data gathering for structural assessments.
