Job summary
Dennis Group Structural Engineers seeks a Junior/Senior Civil or Structural Engineering student to support design for food and beverage processing facilities. You will perform calculations, create analysis models, and draft drawings using AutoCAD and Revit while coordinating with other disciplines and reviewing submittals.
The role requires field measurements, knowledge of building codes, and travel up to 15 days per year.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (junior/senior).
- GPA 3.0 or above.
- Experience or schooling in structural calculations.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit drafting.
- RAM Structural or RAM Elements knowledge is a plus.
- Willingness to travel 15 days/year.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of materials and construction techniques to design tasks.
- Perform hand calculations and create models for structural design.
- Determine applicable building codes and amendments.
- Draft sketches and contract drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with disciplines and review submittals and calculations.
- Conduct field measurements and prepare inspection reports.
