Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a BS in mechanical engineering.
• HVAC and/or utilities design experience a plus.
• Familiarity with heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with CAD programs preferred (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Willing to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform heating and cooling load calculations.
• Conduct code reviews for HVAC/plumbing/fire protection designs.
• Create mechanical schedules and PID drafting.
• Bid packages and vendor coordination.
• Assist in mechanical system design and documentation.
• Research materials and best practices.
