Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to handle decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of instruments and sterile supplies. You will operate and monitor cleaning equipment and maintain records in line with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards.

This on-site, full-time role offers standard hours (40 per week) with Shift 2. Education: high school diploma required; Central Sterile coursework preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Central Sterile coursework preferred.
• One Year Of Related Healthcare Experience Is Preferred.
• Certification-Sterile processing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, process, sterilize and distribute instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Operate and monitor cleaning/sterilization equipment.
• Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
