The University of Miami seeks a Staff Pharmacist to work at Sylvester Cancer Center in Miami, FL. The incumbent ensures the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medications and prompt delivery of medications to patients.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the pharmacist reviews orders and patient profiles to ensure safety and efficacy. Responsibilities include supervising the IV admixture program, unit-dose dispensing, and providing drug information to healthcare

Competenze

• Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current Florida pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant hospital or clinical pharmacy experience.

Mansioni

• Monitor centralized IV admixture program with emphasis on chemotherapy and IV therapies.
• Review physician orders and patient profiles to prevent drug interactions and contraindications.
• Provide current and accurate drug information to health care professionals and patients.
