Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the adult oncology population in the outpatient clinic at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to optimize medication therapy.

You will educate patients and caregivers, participate in guideline development, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. A strong background in hematology/oncology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida licensure in good standing and PharmD degree.
• PGY-1 and PGY-2 Hematology/Oncology Residency or Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to adult stem cell transplant patients as part of interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers receiving oncology therapy.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams for patient care activities.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of medication-related guidelines.
• Participate in scholarly activities and in-services for staff and trainees.
