Job summary

AMB Sports and Entertainment is seeking a full-time Finance Accountant to manage traditional accounting duties and monthly reporting. The role requires in-office presence five days a week and close collaboration with the Director of Finance to support budgets and audits.

The candidate will handle general ledger entries, monthly closing processes, intercompany reconciliations, and financial analysis for multiple entities, including ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting.
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Windows-based accounting systems; proficiency in Word.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Family Office, with extended hours as needed.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Aptitude with general ledger systems, subsystems, and interfaces.
• Ability to support improvements in GL systems and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Enthusiasm and a solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger coordination, daily transactions, monthly closings, intercompany balance.
• Coordinate with accounts payable to process payments.
• Process and approve employee reimbursements and track company cards.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Track capital expenditures and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting package and variance commentary.
• Prepare annual budget and present, reforecast as needed with department heads.
• Collaborate on other projects or duties as needed.
• Ad-hoc internal reporting and financial analysis.
