Job summary

AMB Family Office (AMBFO) in the United States seeks a full-time accounting professional reporting to the Director of Finance. The role covers traditional accounting duties, monthly reporting, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries for multiple entities; in-office presence is required five days a week.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting with 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and experience with GL systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and Windows-based accounting systems proficiency.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Family Office with extended hours as needed.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Demonstrated aptitude with general ledger systems and interfaces.
• Ability to support improvements in financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger - coordination, prep, documentation of daily transactions; monthly close; intercompany processing.
• Coordinate with accounts payable to process and approve payments.
• Process and approve employee reimbursements and track company credit cards.
• Bank account reconciliations.
• Tracking and reconciling capital expenditures.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting package and variances.
• Prepare and analyze annual budget with department heads and reforecasting.
• Ad-hoc internal reporting and financial analysis.
