Denning Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Chancellor, South Dakota. This full-time, on-site role supports daily accounting operations, maintains accurate financial records, and collaborates with management and other departments.

The position requires prior accounting experience, familiarity with QuickBooks, and strong attention to detail. You will assist with month-end closings, invoicing, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
• Experience using QuickBooks preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Enter, review, and reconcile invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and assist with collections.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Work with management and other departments to ensure accurate and timely accounting processes.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.
