CM-Connecticut is seeking a Staff Accountant for an on-site role in Waterbury, CT. This position supports the accounting team with journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requires 3-5 years accounting experience and QuickBooks Online proficiency, plus prior construction industry exposure. On-site work in Waterbury is mandatory, with GAAP compliance and audits as part of duties.

Competenze

• 3-5 years accounting experience.
• Must have QuickBooks Online experience.
• Prior experience in the construction, mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, or other skilled trades industry is required.
• Must be able to work on site in Waterbury.

Mansioni

• Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger.
• Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of internal financial statements and reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.
