Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with a district in Brown County, Wisconsin to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. This is an on-site opportunity with 4 openings across Early Childhood, Autism Focus, Intellectual Disabilities, and Cross Categorical programs.

Roles involve providing specialized instruction and case management, collaborating with general education staff, related service providers, and families to ensure services align with IEP goals and district

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a team-based school environment.
• Experience supporting students with diverse needs and IEP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction aligned to student IEPs and present levels of performance.
• Develop, implement, and update IEP goals, accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring plans.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure services are delivered with fidelity.
• Manage classroom and behavioral supports using proactive strategies and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Communicate progress and student needs with families/guardians.
• Maintain compliant documentation and required district reporting.
