Job summary

AEITS, Inc., a GTSC company, seeks a Cloud Technical Expert, Level 3 to join an on-site team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and seven years of software engineering experience in large-scale programs.

Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and SWE experience. The successful candidate will analyze requirements, design software to meet performance targets, debug, and lead development efforts across teams.

Qualifications

• Seven years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline is required (or substitutable experience).
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate software into new or modified environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Serve as team lead per software development process.
• Design or implement complex database interfaces/queries.
• Develop algorithms to meet performance/functional standards.
• Assist with testing procedures for software components.
• Analyze system performance and data usage to suggest improvements.
• Modify existing software to improve performance or adapt to hardware.
