HomePro is seeking a knowledgeable Technical Support Representative to provide advanced support for residential smart home and security solutions in Carrollton, TX. This on-site role requires hands-on experience with home automation and alarm systems.

You will diagnose connectivity issues, guide customers through app setups, and collaborate with field technicians to ensure optimal system performance. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical certifications are advantageous.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar technical support role preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM software and ticketing systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for internal teams and clients via calls, email, and SMS.
• Handle escalated support cases for HomePro-installed systems such as security panels and cameras.
• Diagnose connectivity issues across Z-Wave and Wi-Fi devices and assist vendors.
• Guide customers through mobile app setup, remote access, and system sync.
• Collaborate with field technicians to resolve installation challenges.
• Log interactions in the CRM and escalate unresolved issues to Tier 3 engineering.
• Contribute to documentation and train Tier 1 representatives.
