Job summary

FASTSIGNS #271001 is hiring for a full-time Sign Install & Production Technician to join our team. You’ll play an important role in getting finished signs produced and in place—on walls, vehicles, ceilings or grounds—using a variety of tools to assemble, erect and install both indoors and outdoors.

Fear of heights is not in your vocabulary. You will follow layouts for vinyl application, prepare substrates, weed excess vinyl, and operate printers/routers while performing quality checks and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
• Experience installing signs and graphics preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place vinyl or full-color graphics on substrates.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning).
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; handle different sizes and complexities.
• Operate and maintain printers and routers.
• Quality assurance by reading Work Orders and proofing for errors.
• Finish laminating and mounting printed pieces.
• Install completed signs on job sites using ladders and power tools.
• Report inventory levels and stock needs to center/manager.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
