Job summary

Entergy is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to maintain, inspect, and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems on fleet vehicles and equipment, including bucket trucks and digger derricks.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience with medium/heavy-duty trucks, DOT compliance, and the ability to travel to various job sites; a Class A CDL and safety certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience maintaining hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems in medium/heavy trucks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant vocational training acceptable.
• Fluid Power Certification (FPC) and ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical tasks using hand tools and diagnose fleet equipment.
• Inspect, maintain and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical systems on mobile equipment.
• Ensure DOT/compliance, safety procedures, and proper record-keeping.
