Knightscope, Inc. is seeking a senior ML engineer to own the ICM 2.0 detection intelligence within Signals. You will lead the transfer from a third-party vendor, take model ownership, and drive measurable improvements in detection quality over time.

The role focuses on training, evaluating, and deploying the detection engine, and partnering with back-end/MLOps teams to scale inference on-site at Sunnyvale HQ.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of ML engineering experience with production computer vision systems.
• Expertise in audio/video detection models.
• Strong experience with PyTorch or similar frameworks.
• Experience deploying models at scale and owning production code.

Responsabilités

• Own ICM 2.0 detection models and the training, evaluation, and deployment pipeline.
• Lead knowledge transfer from the current vendor on the detection engine.
• Collaborate with the video/streaming backend team on model serving and inference infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the MLOps Engineer on production model deployment and monitoring.
• Drive measurable improvements in detection precision, recall, and latency.
