Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Sr JDE Business Systems Analyst to lead functional analysis for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne finance and construction accounting. You will gather requirements, perform fit/gap analyses, and configure E1 modules across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, and more.

You’ll work with stakeholders to define needs and translate them into specifications for development teams. The role emphasizes end-to-end process design, cross‑module impact assessment, and on-site collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a business systems analyst, including 5 years of hands‑on experience with JD Edwards E1 finance modules.
• Experience supporting JD Edwards Job Cost and Contract/Subcontract Management; Advanced Cost Accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in the construction or project‑based industry preferred; JD Edwards E1 Release 23 experience and relevant JD Edwards certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior functional analyst for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne finance and construction accounting, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, Contract/Subcontract Management, and Advanced Cost Accounting.
• Meet with Accounting, Finance, Project Controls, and operations stakeholders to assess business objectives, define user needs, and follow an established requirements gathering process.
• Lead fit/gap analysis and cross‑module impact assessments for proposed configuration or process changes.
• Configure and maintain E1 financial and job cost setup, including chart of accounts, business units, cost codes/object accounts, AAIs, and commitments.
• Provide expert‑level support for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare functional specifications, statements of work, and process documentation for development teams.
• Coordinate with developers and QA/test users to validate functionality and user acceptance.
• Stay informed of JD Edwards releases, emerging technologies, and changing organizational objectives.
