Job summary

Responsive Search Inc. is seeking a JDE/E1 Business Systems Analyst to analyze, enhance, and maintain ERP systems supporting accounting, finance, project/job cost, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Analyze and maintain ERP systems supporting accounting, finance, and procurement.
• Translate business requirements into system designs and ensure SDLC compliance.
• Lead cross-functional teams during implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Create technical/functional specs and training materials.
• Experience with JDE E1 job cost, profit recognition, service billing, contract billing, AP, AR, GL, fixed assets.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sr. Business Analyst, Developers and users during implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Document current and future-state process flows, use cases, edit rules, and specifications.
• Guide definition of new requirements and identify improvements to business processes.
• Produce technical/functional specifications, workflow charts, and diagrams for developers.
• Maintain documentation covering development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and defect resolution.
• Identify business strategies and opportunities to help prioritize initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements and support testing.
• Perform data analysis using E1 queries and Pivot tables for troubleshooting.
• Create OMW projects to track version changes/enhancements for approvals per SDLC.
• Perform basic SQL queries and write updates for data fixes per SOX controls.
• Design and map third-party integrations (EDI and APIs).
• Develop scenarios, use cases and participate in QA to ensure requirements are met.
• Create training materials and train end users.
• Provide technical support for questions, errors, and system issues.
• Travel up to 20% may be required.
• Account reconciliation support as required by accounting.
