Job summary

Schochet is seeking an Experienced Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at Plumley Village in Worcester, MA. You will lead the maintenance team, manage service orders, and ensure high standards of property upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and turnover procedures.

We require 8+ years in maintenance with progression of responsibilities; multifamily experience is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the maintenance field with progression of responsibilities.
• Multifamily experience is highly desired.
• Formal training in facilities management or building trades is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, develop and direct assigned staff.
• Schedule and assist with daily operations and make-ready work.
• Develop and adhere to maintenance budgets and authorize expenditures.
• Coordinate service contracts and oversee vendors/contractors.
• Conduct regular property inspections and document results.
