Job summary

Haynes Group, Inc is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead field operations on active ground‑up projects, overseeing budgets of $10M+ and coordinating with ownership, design teams, and in‑house crews. The role demands ownership, fast decision‑making, and delivery on schedule and budget.

The position is on‑site with a base compensation of $150,000–$190,000, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a vertically integrated real estate development firm.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of project management experience on ground‑up mixed‑use, multifamily, or commercial construction.
• Proven track record managing subcontractors and self‑perform site work operations.
• Experience owning project budgets of $10M or greater.
• Deep knowledge of construction documents, means and methods, and building systems.
• Proficiency with Procore (or equivalent) and scheduling tools such as MS Project.
• Strong OSHA knowledge and jobsite safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule & planning: Build and enforce detailed project schedules using MS Project and Procore and coordinate trades and in‑house crews.
• Budget & cost management: Own the project budget, forecast variances, and approve pay applications and change orders.
• Subcontractor & site management: Solicit bids, coordinate subs, and manage on‑site site crews and earthwork.
• Quality, safety & inspections: Conduct site inspections, enforce OSHA standards, and coordinate inspections with authorities.
• Documentation & reporting: Maintain RFIs, submittals, minutes, daily reports, and status updates.
• Project closeout: Drive to certificate of occupancy, manage punch lists, and collect warranties and as‑builts.
