Job summary

Risus Talent Partners is assisting a manufacturing/distribution client in Bedford, OH to fill a Senior Accountant position on-site. The role focuses on general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and ERP proficiency. Manufacturing/distribution background is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, journal entry, reconciliation, and month-end close experience.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred; inventory/cost accounting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Prepare reconciliations and assist with inventory and cost accounting.
• Assist with financial reporting and other key accounting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and finance leadership.
