Job summary

Risus Talent Partners is assisting a manufacturing/distribution client in Bedford, OH to fill a Senior Accountant position on-site. The role focuses on general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and ERP proficiency. Manufacturing/distribution background is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, journal entry, reconciliation, and month-end close experience.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred; inventory/cost accounting a plus.

One of our largest clients is looking for a Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Cleveland, OH!

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on and wants exposure across a variety of accounting functions within a manufacturing/distribution environment. The Senior Accountant will work closely with finance leadership and support general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting, financial reporting, and other key accounting activities.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger, journal entry, reconciliation, and month-end close experience
• Manufacturing or distribution experience strongly preferred
• Inventory and/or cost accounting experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system
• Someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally
