Job summary

The role includes hourly patrols, access control, event support, and enforcing on-site rules. Candidates must have a DC security officer certification, a high school diploma, customer-service experience, a valid license, and flexibility for after-hours and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and DC security officer certification required.
• 1 year of customer-service experience recommended.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.
• Flexible to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrols using security system.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Maintain safety and report issues to management.
• Assist with events for Reston and Reston Station.
• Manage plaza marketing plan during special events.
• Direct traffic and ensure fire lanes are accessible.
• Close loading dock doors as needed.
• Enforce the no dogs on plaza policy.
• Maintain signages and provide guest info as needed.
• Report unknown activity to management.
