Job summary

Bank of Tennessee seeks a Security Specialist to support the Security Officer in maintaining regulatory compliance and security policies. You will train employees, monitor threats, and help safeguard employees and customers.

The role requires on-site work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interact across departments and with external partners, including law enforcement where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in banking and/or security preferred.
• This is not a remote position; on-site work required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Officer in daily administration of the Security Department.
• Assist in monitoring and responding to cybersecurity threats.
• Process garnishments, levies, fraud restitution, and related investigations.
• Complete investigations, documentation, and reporting of fraud incidents.
• Coordinate with legal counsel for subpoenas and legal requests.
• Provide security training for new and current employees.
• Maintain and update security systems (access control, cameras, alarms).
• Maintain vendor relations for security equipment and payments.
• Review Verafin alerts and determine case creation needs.
• Ensure compliance with security deadlines and documentation.
