Job summary

MSCCN is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support a national security-focused customer. The ISSE will ensure core security engineering principles are applied across programs, ensuring secure, reliable, and available systems and networks for government clients.

Position is long-term, on-site at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, US citizenship, and be able to obtain an OS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or nine years of IT experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• US citizenship and a valid US passport or ability to obtain one.
• Must be able to obtain an OS certification within 90 days (MD-102 or AZ-104).

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle cybersecurity for US Navy systems, including design, implement and field secure systems and networks.
• Install and configure secure hardware and software and maintain program infrastructure.
• Conduct security audits and ensure systems are current with patches and RMF/NIST controls.
• Develop program technical publications such as SEP, PM plans, analyses and reports.
• Coordinate with SMEs to identify authorization boundary diagrams, architecture diagrams, and inventories.
