Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a full-time, in-person School Psychologist to support a Lake County, Illinois school for the 2026/2027 year. The role requires Illinois licensure and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and contribute to IEP/504 processes, with 35 hours per week on-site. Start Oct 29, 2026; End May 28, 2027. This placement offers ongoing advocacy and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Illinois School Psychologist license is required.
• PEL license with School Psychologist endorsement.
• Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments.
• Ability to collaborate with IEP/504 teams.
• Provide counseling and intervention support for social-emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological/educational assessments to identify needs.
• Use results to inform interventions and student support planning.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support classroom strategies and behavior plans.
• Support school-wide prevention and crisis response efforts as needed.
