Job summary

Green Dot Public Schools seeks a School Culture Associate to help maintain a safe, welcoming campus environment across multiple sites in Los Angeles County. The role emphasizes active listening, de-escalation, and partnerships with administrators to uphold school safety policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring students, guiding safety protocols, reporting incidents, and collaborating on conflict resolution and SEL initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some college coursework in psychology, sociology, counseling or related field (bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years related experience may substitute for college coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming school environment; monitor students, staff, and community members.
• Guide students and use safety protocols to prevent injury and property damage.
• Report threats or misbehavior to administration; provide safety escorts as needed.
• Supervise campus areas and direct visitors following safety protocols.
• Assist with mediations and conflict resolution among students and staff.
