Brunswick Corporation in Kent is seeking a Safety & Operations Coordinator to support operations at the Kent site. The role bridges warehouse safety, compliance, and administrative tasks, with ownership and cross-functional visibility across frontline teams and leadership.

Responsibilities include implementing the SMS, training oversight, incident investigations, and coordinating safety programs for new hires, including PIT operators.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and coordination across varied teams.
• Attention to detail and comfort with tracking documentation or operational data.
• General understanding of warehouse workflows, compliance needs, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Support a safe work environment by implementing the Safety Management System and quarterly reviews.
• Monitor training completion and regulatory compliance; track safety metrics.
• Coach employees on workplace safety and injury prevention.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses with leadership.
• Coordinate safety training for onboarding and required programs for PIT operators.
• Assist with facility compliance, inspections, and safety documentation.
• Maintain site safety and training records for audits and leadership reporting.
• Lead or support Safety Committee initiatives and tracking progress toward goals.
• Provide cross-functional support to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
