Job summary

Magnum Electric, Inc. is seeking a qualified safety professional for a project-based safety role in Ellendale, ND. The ideal candidate has prior safety management experience in construction and is motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. We welcome conversations to discuss fit and goals.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, performing inspections and audits, incident investigations, and reporting on safety performance. Relocation to Ellendale is required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and prevention strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, trends, and improvement recommendations.
• Provide employees with safety training, protocols, and proper use of safety equipment.
• Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety management.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and maintain accurate incident records.
