Job summary

ProSearch Recruiting Partners, an independent MRINetwork franchise, seeks a Safety Specialist to support on-site projects for robotics and material handling installations. This role emphasizes developing and enforcing safety plans, training personnel, and driving continuous safety improvements at client sites.

The position requires up to 90% travel (domestic and international) with a base salary of $75,000 plus bonus and profit sharing, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) or related field.
• 1–2 years of safety experience, preferably with large-scale equipment.
• Experience implementing environmental, safety and health programs preferred.
• Familiarity with Automated Material Handling Systems.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and data.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and update the installation site safety plan.
• Maintain safety plan documents.
• Develop and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Manage Safety Department employees; train and coach.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain hazard-free working conditions.
• Collaborate with contractors to improve safety culture.
• Ensure site safety training is completed.
• Arrange health and safety testing by external agencies.
• Analyze risk and implement mitigation measures.
