Job summary

METROLINA GREENHOUSES LLC seeks a Safety Specialist to own the on-site safety program for York, SC operations and field activity. You will drive hazard identification, investigations, and corrective actions to reduce injuries and downtime.

You will maintain audit-ready OSHA documentation, coordinate medical directions, and partner with Ops/HR to ensure readiness and compliant practices on all shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting safety in warehouse, manufacturing, or field services.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, incident investigation, and safety training administration.
• Ability to influence hourly and salaried teams; strong communication and follow-through.
• On-site York, SC work with travel to field activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site safety for York, SC operations and Merchandising field activity.
• Lead incident management end-to-end; coordinate reporting, investigation, and corrective actions for 300+ incidents/year.
• Conduct audits, inspections, observations, and hazard identifications to prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, and leadership to improve readiness and reduce incidents.
