Job summary

MOR PPM, Inc. is seeking Safety Advisors to support sites in Georgetown and Berkeley Counties, SC. You will help protect workers, the public, and the environment by enforcing safety programs and conducting on-site inspections.

You will lead safety meetings, coach field teams, and coordinate with management to align safety initiatives with corporate policies. OSHA 30 certification is required or strongly preferred, with forklift trainer credentials advantageous.

Qualifications

• Possess specified certifications, including OSHA 30.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to maintain and practice workplace safety programs, procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of the workers, the jobsite, environment and public.
• Inspect the jobsites and identify hazards, assess risks and report hazards.
• Investigate incidents to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
• Provide guidance and coaching to field employees.
• Communicate and collaborate with manager to align safety strategies with policies.
• Assist in response and correction of significant safety events.
• Proactively recommend changes to protect workers and educate employees.
• Collect and validate safety records and complete safety audits.
• Administer drug testing.
• Administer basic First Aid.
• Lead safety meetings.
