Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an on-site Safety Owner to lead the safety program for York, SC operations and Merchandising field activity. You will drive daily safety execution, manage incident handling, and partner with Operations to reduce injuries and downtime.

The role emphasizes proactive hazard identification, corrective action closure, and audit-ready documentation. Primary responsibilities include incident triage, investigations, and coordination with HR/Operations for return-to-work.

Qualifications

• Experience applying OSHA requirements in warehouse/distribution contexts.
• Ability to lead investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Experience coordinating safety training programs and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Own safety program on York floor; audits, inspections, coaching.
• Manage incident workflow and return-to-work coordination; 300+ incidents/year.
• Lead root-cause investigations and verify corrective actions.
