Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a Safety Site Manager to promote our safety culture and lead the safety program at the job site. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, training, and operational safety leadership on active projects in the Manassas area.

The ideal candidate has OSHA 30, 5+ years of construction safety experience, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Safety or Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 required.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Engineering preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Written and verbal skills must be strong.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support Helix safety culture and processes at the job site.
• Coordinate incident investigations, site audits, and subcontractor EH&S compliance.
• Assist with new hire orientations and safety-related tasks as assigned.
• Work with site personnel on regulatory issues and safety policy compliance.
• Identify training needs and conduct safety-related training.
• Assist site management with close site support and medical case management.
• Review reports for trends and recommend protocol adjustments.
