Job summary

Eastern Contractors Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to lead site safety for commercial projects across Northern Virginia and DC. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA compliance, and work with project teams to identify risks and deliver training.

Candidates should have OSHA 30-Hour, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in industrial construction safety, with the ability to manage safety programs on active sites and support

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
• OSHA 510, CHST, CSM or CSP certifications preferred.
• Experience in commercial/industrial construction safety.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) for projects.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, JSAs, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and enforce company policies.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning.
• Deliver safety orientations and ongoing training for staff and subcontractors.
• Serve as on-site Competent Person for safety and risk mitigation.
