Job summary

EMCOR Group seeks a Safety Manager, Construction (Mechanical) on-site to support project teams across multiple sites. You will lead safety compliance, conduct inspections, investigations, and enforce regulations to prevent injuries.

You will update HASP/JHA, coordinate training, audits, and drug/alcohol testing, and ensure certifications for field and office staff. A BS in safety, 5–10 years in construction safety, and OSHA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Cannot hire F-1 visa holders or sponsor in the future.
• Bachelor's degree in health and safety or related field.
• 5–10 years of SAFETY experience in construction.
• OSHA 510/OSHA 500 certifications; OSHA 30-hour construction safety preferred.
• CHST/STS certifications a plus.
• Experience with HASP and JHA document updates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety/training software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance for multiple project sites under federal and state laws.
• Lead accident investigations and identify preventive actions.
• Perform site safety inspections and evaluate workplace practices.
• Develop and update HASP, JHA, and other safety documentation.
• Coordinate safety training, drug and alcohol testing, and certifications.
• Enforce safety programs and conduct safety audits.
• Maintain SMIS data entry and fleet safety records.
• Ensure required training for field and office personnel.
