Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years' experience working in construction safety.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and administering safety plans, policies, and procedures.
• Provide safety technical expertise, training, and support to the branch and workers.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, both routine and non-routine.
• Conduct job site inspections and audits for policy compliance.
• Promote safe work practices through coaching and engagement.
• Investigate work-related injuries and incidents, with corrective actions.
• Review safety incidents and investigation reports for accuracy.
• Ensure timely submission of safety reports and documentation.
• Act as a liaison between the company and clients on site safety management.
• Establish branch and project safety goals and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Evaluate and approve safety equipment and PPE.
