Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to serve as a technical expert for evaluating repair challenges and developing engineering solutions in service center operations. You will provide independent engineering judgment to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of rotating equipment across oil & gas, chemical, and industrial gas applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in an engineering role supporting rotating equipment, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and engineering documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Design & Technical Support: Perform engineering calculations and tolerance analyses to validate repair and redesign efforts.
• Repair & Aftermarket Engineering: Provide real-time engineering support during inspection, assembly, and testing phases.
• Quality, Safety, & Compliance: Ensure all repair and design work meets Atlas Copco quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable codes.
• Project Execution & Collaboration: Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and service teams to ensure smooth execution of repair activities.
• Cross-Functional & Field Support: Collaborate with Atlas Copco product companies within our division to exchange technical information and align field repair practices with original equipment specifications.
