Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment on site, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of diesel or heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Location involves work in various remote sites across Texas, with strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction equipment strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose issues and make repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Work with a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and related gear.
• Follow safety protocols and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
