Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics at customer sites. The role involves servicing a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and generators, with emphasis on safety and minimizing downtime.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, and a valid license (CDL may be required in some locations). Some locations may require bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair at the customer site.
• Work on diverse equipment including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC, and generators.
• Ensure safety and minimize downtime while delivering quality service.
• Travel to remote locations as needed and use tools of the trade.
