Job summary

Select Staffing in Chatsworth, CA is seeking an Electronics RF Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will test, tune, and troubleshoot complex RF and digital/analog circuitry, assisting Engineering with test stations and handling RMAs. Expect hands-on work with high-end test equipment and precision rework of optical components.

Role requires 2+ years in electronics, strong RF knowledge, and ability to operate network/spectrum analyzers. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, pay DOE.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of Electrical/Electronics principles and RF circuitry.
• Proven experience troubleshooting digital and analog systems to component level.
• Ability to operate high-level test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) and understand intermodulation/noise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Test units, sub-assemblies, and RMAs on the production line.
• Operate advanced test equipment (O-scopes, analyzers, generators) to characterize RF circuitry.
• Test, tune, and troubleshoot RF optical fiber units to component level.
• Perform precision rework, soldering, and assembly of optical components.
• Conduct environmental testing from -40C to 80C and log data.
• Support Engineering with to-diagnosis for out-of-box failures and test station setup.
