Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of HR experience, including familiarity with basic employment law (EEO, FLSA, HIPAA, etc.).
• Experience with Retail and/or Food & Beverage industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first-level HR resource for store leadership teams and retail employees, providing guidance on workplace concerns, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct initial fact-finding and partner with HR leadership on resolutions for employee concerns.
• Manage documentation related to employee performance, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
• Be the initial point of contact for employee questions on time and attendance, disciplinary actions, and performance plans.
• Perform day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
• Conduct regular store visits within the NYC Market to build relationships with employees and maintain HR presence.
