Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Retail Technician to perform environmental services including collection, disposal, and recycling of various products. CDL B training is provided by the company, and duties include driving a box truck and visiting retail sites.

Eligible candidates will have strong customer service, operate laptops and handheld devices, and work in compliance with OSHA/DOT regulations. Health benefits start after 30 days of full-time employment.

Competenze

• Customer service skills are required.
• Ability to use a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone.
• By position, eligible to obtain CDL B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months, company paid.

Mansioni

• Follow health and safety priorities and work practices at all times.
• Pickup, pack and transport damaged/discarded goods and recalled products.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste for safe transport.
• Drive a Box Truck and visit retail customer sites.
• Prepare shipping documents (DOT) and ensure shipability of drums.
• Interact with customers at each stop and ensure regulatory compliance.
