Job summary

Clean Harbors in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Class A Driver (Retail Technician) to provide environmental services including collection and disposal of damaged, recalled, or discarded products at retail sites. You will also assist with recycling of bulbs and fluids and on-site cleanup tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to use a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone.
• Eligible to obtain CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker within 6 months of hire.
• Physically capable of job functions as required.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34 for respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Box Truck and visit retail sites.
• Pickup, pack and transport damaged goods and recalls.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents.
• Interact with customers at stops.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT guidelines.
