Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Florence, SC. This role involves providing direct patient care and performing Respiratory Care procedures while ensuring excellent customer relations and maintaining accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Respiratory Care and relevant certifications. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 72 hours bi-weekly during the night shift.

Qualifications

• Zero to less than 1 year of experience in Respiratory Care.
• Participation in the NBRC Continuing Competency Program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist certification required.
• ACLS certification must be completed within 3 months.
• PALS certification must be completed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional image and excellent customer relations.
• Perform direct patient care and Respiratory Care procedures.
• Document and maintain records in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency alerts appropriately.
• Evaluate patient care and make recommendations.
