Job summary

E80 Group is seeking a Resident Reliability Engineer to support advanced automated systems at a dedicated customer site in Cartersville, GA. This hands-on role focuses on keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements across palletizers, LGVs, conveyors, and warehouse automation.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on technical experience in automated equipment maintenance.
Experience with motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and automation systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, LGVs/AGVs, and warehouse automation is preferred.
Strong safety, documentation, and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated systems to maximize uptime.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical failures on robotics and conveyors.
Conduct root cause analysis to reduce recurring failures.
Maintain maintenance records and service reports.
Collaborate with customer teams and internal engineering to implement improvements.
Support spare parts inventory and recommend levels.
