Puyallup Tribal Health Authority in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Registered Dietitian to deliver culturally grounded nutrition care on-site. You will assess, counsel, and develop care plans for diverse patients, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to support diabetes management and obesity prevention.

You’ll lead nutrition education for individuals and groups, participate in WIC education plans, and help advance community wellness aligned with Indigenous values and trust-based care.

Qualifications

• Current WA State certification as a Registered Dietitian.
• Experience with WIC services/programs and using an EHR system.
• Two years of diabetes education experience preferred.
• BLS certification and WA State Food Worker Card (or ability to obtain within one month).

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized nutrition care: conduct assessments, counseling, and create care plans.
• Support whole-person wellness by collaborating with medical, behavioral health, and wellness teams.
• Educate and empower through group education, workshops, and wellness classes.
• Support families through WIC with culturally responsive nutrition plans.
• Contribute to nutrition-related policies and community wellness initiatives.
