Care Partners At Home is seeking an Authorization Coordinator to manage the full authorization lifecycle for regional center clients. You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and insurance representatives to ensure accurate hours and timely renewals.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and strong communication skills, with a mission to support families navigating disability services. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in authorization coordination or related role within disability services field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and internet-based applications.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a federal background screen.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of service authorizations, from initial requests to renewals.
• Ensure utilization is tracked and managed to maximize approved hours.
• Verify service hours are applied correctly and in compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of authorizations and renewals in the CRM.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and Regional Center requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for authorization inquiries from families and Regional Center reps.
• Provide timely updates to families and caregivers regarding authorizations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and Regional Center representatives.
• Collaborate with Intake and Operations teams for accuracy and smooth transitions.
• Offer feedback to improve the authorization process and efficiency.
