Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an On Premise Recruiter in Grand Rapids to develop recruiting resources, screen candidates, and promote Aerotek’s contract and direct hire opportunities. You’ll attend career fairs, network with schools, and help with reporting while maintaining candidate data across platforms.

The role offers a base salary and a performance-based bonus, with compensation levels tied to tenure and location. Strong teamwork and customer focus are essential in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Customer or sales focused experience.
• Experience in a team oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting resources and networking to attract qualified employees for contract, contract-to-hire and direct placement roles.
• Screen contractors to ensure qualifications meet open positions (interviews, references, skills tests, background checks, etc.).
• Identify networking opportunities such as career fairs; cold call schools and organizations to promote Aerotek.
• Assist with internal and client reporting as necessary.
• Maintain documentation in Aerotek’s online systems to track candidates and sourcing metrics.
• Utilize Aerotek resources for conflict resolution.

As an On Premise Recruiter you will…

• Develop creative recruiting resources and networking activities to attract qualified employees interested in contract, contract to hire and direct placement employment.
• Perform all necessary contractor screening to ensure the contractor’s qualifications meet open positions (ie. Interviews, reference checks, skills testing, background checks, etc.).
• Identify and participate in networking activities such as attending career fairs as needed and cold calling on schools, organizations, and outplacement services to promote Aerotek.
• Assist with internal and client reporting as necessary.
• Maintain all documentation using Aerotek’s online systems to track information and hiring metrics regarding candidates and sourcing strategies.
• Utilize the available and appropriate resources of Aerotek for conflict resolution.

Upon successful completion of our hourly training period, Aerotek offers a base salary of $50,000 as well as a performance-based annual bonus potential of up to$10,000. After 1 year of tenure, your base salary automatically increases to $55,000.
